Search leads

Find an accessible lead by useful identity and business context.

Find a known lead quickly by stable contact or record details without changing ownership, status, or routing history.

Why it matters

Fast, permission-aware search helps agents and operations answer questions from the existing record instead of creating a duplicate lead or asking a manager to locate it. The result is quicker support and less operational noise around active opportunities.

Find the right record

Start from a known contact detail

Use the application search with a name, email address, or phone fragment that is specific enough to narrow the result. Empty submissions do not run a search.

Interpret results within your access

Search respects company and role visibility. Finding and opening a lead does not reassign it, change its status, or restart routing.

Use the lead record, not the result list, for action

The result helps you locate the correct record. Open that record to review the available context and role-appropriate actions.

When no result appears

Check spelling and try a stable contact detail such as email or phone. A record from another company or outside the signed-in role's permitted view will not be exposed.

A practical service scenario

A prospect calls back several days after the first conversation. Searching the email or phone number brings the accessible lead back into view, with its existing owner and history intact. The agent can continue from real context instead of opening a duplicate workflow.

Search a stable contact detail before creating another lead for a returning contact. Opening a result is safe: it does not change ownership or routing.

Search is working well when

  • A precise name, email, or phone returns the expected record.
  • Opening a result preserves the lead's existing ownership, status, and routing history.
  • A missing result does not expose records outside the signed-in company or role.
  • The existing record is used for follow-up instead of creating a duplicate lead.
