Add a manual lead

Create one lead from the HoneyFalcon application and send it into normal routing.

Bring an offline, referred, or exceptional opportunity into the same routing and reporting flow as automated leads.

Why it matters

Manual entry prevents valuable enquiries from disappearing into private notes or spreadsheets. A Firm admin can create one complete lead record, let the normal allocation engine route it, and preserve the same ownership, work, cost, and optional CRM-delivery behavior used by webhook and email intake.

Create a manual lead without creating a side process

Open the manual lead form

Choose Manual lead from the application navigation. The form is part of the Firm admin workflow and uses the same core lead fields that support the wider operating record.

Enter a reliable identity and contact

  1. Enter first name, last name, email, and phone.
  2. Keep Source as Manual Entry, then add campaign, address, and notes when known.
  3. Review spelling and contact details, then submit once.

Let normal routing begin

Submission creates the lead and starts the normal asynchronous allocation path. It does not silently assign ownership to the Firm admin who completed the form.

Use Lead Management and the Source: Manual Entry filter to observe the later routing state instead of assuming that form submission completed allocation immediately.

Use manual assignment only as an explicit choice

If a Firm admin needs a specific active teammate to own the lead, manual assignment is a separate administrative action. Preferred or Hard tag matching does not choose or block that destination.

Understand tags on manual leads

Source mappings enrich structured webhook or email input. A manually created lead uses the values entered in the form and then joins the same operational lifecycle; manual entry is not a hidden mapping shortcut.

A practical offline-opportunity scenario

A partner calls with a qualified referral while the team is already using HoneyFalcon for digital campaigns. The Firm admin records the contact once, and the lead enters the same distribution and follow-up process as every other opportunity.

That keeps referrals visible, measurable, and available to the right teammate without maintaining a separate spreadsheet for exceptional leads.

Submit the form once, then follow the new record in Lead Management. Manual creation starts routing; it does not automatically make the creator the owner.

The manual lead is ready when

  • Required contact data is complete and the lead is created once.
  • Lead Management shows Source: Manual Entry and the routing status produced after asynchronous allocation.
  • The lead has one explicit owner only after normal acceptance or a separate Firm-admin assignment.
  • Later work, cost, analytics, and optional CRM delivery can use the same lead record.
